Silent revolution: Impact of chains of schools

Over the years the National College have written some pretty useful publications, in particular their research papers by fellows (normally serving heads and leaders) who see things from the frontline. Their site on the BSF leadership programme is also packed full of useful information.I picked up this thinkpiece called ‘Chain Reactions‘ a few weeks ago that examines the impact of chains of schools on the English school system and how they are developing new generations of school leaders. Given the range of providers likely to enter the education system its a timely read from Robert Hill – whose also wrote a series of excellent papers for the ASCL on 2020 education.
